She did her school from Mata Jai Public School, Vasant Vihar, Delhi. Then she completed her graduation from IGNOU (Indira Gandhi National Open University) in tourism degree. Later she took up an internship with Oberoi Hotels & Resorts in Jaipur and later worked for ITC Hotel.

She appeared for the first time on television in 2009 in a TV series Specials @10 that aired on Sony Entertainment TV. She also appeared in Shudh Desi Romance movie.
